December 26

It wasn't a white Christmas, but it was a white "Boxing Day"
(no idea why the day after Christmas is called that).
This is mom and dad's house,
beautiful with the Christmas lights and light dusting of snow.

it's called that because, traditionally, it's the day churches opened up their alms boxes to give to the needy... and the day people box up their unneeded stuff to donate to charities... and the day (or close to it) when gifts are given to those in service professions (like garbage men and postmen). =D

My uncle David said it was called that because everyone boxed up their gifts to return them to the stores. :)
